This artwork by Michael Manning achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction, the work Fumbling Towards Ecstasy sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,146.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Manning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Manning erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition wurde die Arbeit Fumbling Towards Ecstasy für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.146,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Manning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Lies im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.921,39).
