Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work "Tom Yum Pizza" by Michael Manning for SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,853.37). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Manning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Lies in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,921.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Tom Yum Pizza" von Michael Manning für SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.853,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Manning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Lies im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.921,39).
