It achieved a price of USD 19,530.00 (€ 18,421.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Heizer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Track Painting in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,109,000.00 (€ 982,546.29).

Die Arbeit #3 Untitled; #16 Untitled; #18 Untitled; #19 Untitled; #23 Untitled; and #24 Untitled, from Monotype, Collage Series (see T. 227) von Michael Heizer kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 19.530,00 (€ 18.421,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Heizer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Track Painting im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.109.000,00 (€ 982.546,29).
