This artwork by Michael Heizer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Offering no. 8 sold for GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,055.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Heizer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Track Painting in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,109,000.00 (€ 982,546.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Heizer erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Offering no. 8 für GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.055,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Heizer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Track Painting im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.109.000,00 (€ 982.546,29).
