This artwork by Maurizio Nannucci achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2013. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work There'S No Reason To Believe That Art Exists sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,117.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maurizio Nannucci; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Blue sold at auction in December 2016 with the realized price of EUR 50,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Maurizio Nannucci erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit There'S No Reason To Believe That Art Exists für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.117,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maurizio Nannucci; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Blue im Dezember 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 50.000,00.
