Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Kanagawa' (From The Solitude Of Ravens) by Masahisa Fukase was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,924.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masahisa Fukase achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cape Erimo from Ravens in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).

Die Arbeit 'Kanagawa' (From The Solitude Of Ravens) von Masahisa Fukase kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.924,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86).
