Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Sasuke!! My Dear Cat by Masahisa Fukase. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,398.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masahisa Fukase achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cape Erimo from Ravens in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sasuke!! My Dear Cat von Masahisa Fukase zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.398,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86).
