Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Classic Photographs, which included the work 'Nayoro' (from 'The Solitude of Ravens') by Masahisa Fukase. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,179.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Masahisa Fukase have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cape Erimo from Ravens in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Classic Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Nayoro' (from 'The Solitude of Ravens') von Masahisa Fukase zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.179,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86).
