Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Orchard by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 187,250.00 (€ 226,399.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats), which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 623,650.00 (€ 768,273.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Orchard von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 187.250,00 (€ 226.399,32) einen neuen Besitzer.
