Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Garden In Bloom by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan. It changed hands for a price of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 123,206.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 623,650.00 (€ 768,273.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden In Bloom von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 123.206,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 623.650,00 (€ 768.273,52).
