In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Mountain Landscape by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,249.57), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 623,650.00 (€ 768,273.52).

Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Landscape von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.249,57) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 623.650,00 (€ 768.273,52).
