Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artvin by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 623,650.00 (€ 768,273.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artvin von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 623.650,00 (€ 768.273,52).
