Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Ardanuch castle by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,800.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martiros Sergeevich Saryan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 623,650.00 (€ 768,273.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ardanuch castle von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.800,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martiros Sergeevich Saryan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Poet (On The Foothills Of Aragats) im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 623.650,00 (€ 768.273,52).
