Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Wickström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Welcome To The Jungle (Gn'R)/Österreich". changed hands for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,692.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Wickström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Moondance" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 390,000.00 (€ 42,745.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Wickström konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Welcome To The Jungle (Gn'R)/Österreich". für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.692,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Wickström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Moondance" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 390.000,00 (€ 42.745,60).
