Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Sedan tystnad” (Then Silence), 2002 by Martin Wickström for DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,682.43). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Wickström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Moondance" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 390,000.00 (€ 42,745.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Sedan tystnad” (Then Silence), 2002 von Martin Wickström für DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.682,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Wickström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Moondance" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 390.000,00 (€ 42.745,60).
