This artwork by Martin Wickström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. In the Böttiger Collection H067 auction, the work "Athinas I" sold for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,234.48) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Wickström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Moondance" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 390,000.00 (€ 42,745.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Wickström erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Böttiger Collection H067 wurde die Arbeit "Athinas I" für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.234,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Wickström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Moondance" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 390.000,00 (€ 42.745,60).
