Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Rudera by Martin Kobe. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 47,279.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Kobe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rudera, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rudera von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 47.279,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rudera beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07) versteigert wurde.
