Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Martin Kobe for GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,711.08). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Kobe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rudera in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martin Kobe für GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.711,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rudera im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07).
