Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Four works: Untitled by Martin Kobe. The price achieved of USD 960.00 (€ 710.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Kobe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rudera in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four works: Untitled von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 960,00 (€ 710,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rudera im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07).
