This artwork by Martin Creed achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2021. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Work No. 3439: Everything Is Going To Be Alright sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,179.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Creed - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work No. 204: Half the air in a given space, which sold at auction in March 2012 for USD 158,500.00 (€ 118,869.06).
