Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled, from Edition Original 1 by Martial Raysse was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in January 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,261.75). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martial Raysse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'année dernière à Capri (titre exotique) (Last Year in Capri (Exotic Title)) in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,073,250.00 (€ 4,797,947.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from Edition Original 1 von Martial Raysse wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.261,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martial Raysse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'année dernière à Capri (titre exotique) (Last Year in Capri (Exotic Title)) im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.073.250,00 (€ 4.797.947,71).
