Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Real Work of Art by Mark Wallinger was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in January 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,016.00 (€ 2,279.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Wallinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (I) The Word In The Desert I (Ii) The Word In The Desert Ii (Iii) The Word In The Desert Iii (Iv) The Word In The Desert Iv (V) The Word In The Desert V in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 69,649.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Real Work of Art von Mark Wallinger wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.016,00 (€ 2.279,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Wallinger erzielen.
