Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ghost by Mark Wallinger was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in September last year. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,514.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Wallinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (I) The Word In The Desert I (Ii) The Word In The Desert Ii (Iii) The Word In The Desert Iii (Iv) The Word In The Desert Iv (V) The Word In The Desert V in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,500.00 (€ 69,649.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ghost von Mark Wallinger wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.514,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
