The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,267.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mark Hagen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work To be titled (Additive Painting #98) in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,645.23).

Die Arbeit To Be Titled (Church Of The Epiphany) von Mark Hagen kam im März 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.267,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Hagen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit To be titled (Additive Painting #98) im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 34.645,23).
