Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 5,292.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mark Hagen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work To be titled (Additive Painting #98) in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,645.23).

Die Arbeit Burned-Over District (Additive Painting #87) von Mark Hagen kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.292,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
