Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Klaagvrouwen by Marius Bauer was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marius Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 61,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Klaagvrouwen von Marius Bauer kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marius Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 61.500,00.
