Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work At The Well by Marius Bauer. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marius Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 61,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Well von Marius Bauer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marius Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minarets; The Hagia Sophia, Istanbul im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 61.500,00.
