Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sol Ream by Marco Maggi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,482.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marco Maggi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 29,542.45).

Die Arbeit Sol Ream von Marco Maggi kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.482,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marco Maggi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 29.542,45).
