Auction result well in line with expectations
The work TURNER BOX (PAPER ON MONDRIAN) by Marco Maggi was auctioned at Phillips in 17 - in July this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,032.00 (€ 1,843.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marco Maggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 29,542.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit TURNER BOX (PAPER ON MONDRIAN) von Marco Maggi kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 17 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.032,00 (€ 1.843,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marco Maggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 29.542,45).
