The work Stacking Alphabet by Marco Maggi was sold in the Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative auction at Christies in Paris in December 2017. The result of EUR 12,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marco Maggi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 29,542.45).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stacking Alphabet von Marco Maggi wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 12.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marco Maggi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 29.542,45) versteigert wurde.
