Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Grisebach held the auction Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie, which included the work Maison d'Appartements à Bagneux, 5 Rue Fortin, Hauts-de-Seine (1927). Architekt: André Lurçat. by Marc Vaux. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 625.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Vaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,492.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Grisebach die Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maison d'Appartements à Bagneux, 5 Rue Fortin, Hauts-de-Seine (1927). Architekt: André Lurçat. von Marc Vaux zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 625,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Vaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.492,88).
