Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work F-K '92 2 Pieces by Marc Vaux for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,678.93). This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain / Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Marc Vaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,492.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit F-K '92 2 Pieces von Marc Vaux für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.678,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in Britain / Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Vaux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.492,88).
