Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marc Vaux could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made In Britain auction, the work F-K '92 changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,283.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Vaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,492.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Vaux konnte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made In Britain wechselte die Arbeit F-K '92 für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.283,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Vaux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.492,88).
