Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Untitled by Manuel Ocampo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2008. The auction ended at the price of USD 500.00 (€ 393.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Comicos Ambulantes in December last year with an auction result of USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,622.55).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled von Manuel Ocampo kam im November 2008 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 500,00 (€ 393,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Comicos Ambulantes im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.622,55).
