Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Infanta Margarita by Manolo Valdés. The »bidding war« ended at USD 144,900.00 (€ 136,904.76), 21% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manolo Valdés - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Infanta Margarita, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Infanta Margarita von Manolo Valdés zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 144.900,00 (€ 136.904,76) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Manolo Valdés mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Infanta Margarita beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 457.250,00 (€ 538.602,24) versteigert wurde.
