The work Infanta Margarita by Manolo Valdés was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2011. It achieved a price of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. With this result, Infanta Margarita is even the most expensive work of art by Manolo Valdés that we have observed at auctions so far.
