Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "We are forever and never anyway" by Lukas Göthman was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 34,000.00 (€ 3,111.13). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lukas Göthman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Valid virginity in the middle of the night", which sold at auction in November 2010 for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,745.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "We are forever and never anyway" von Lukas Göthman wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 34.000,00 (€ 3.111,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lukas Göthman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Valid virginity in the middle of the night" beobachtet, die im November 2010 für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.745,01) versteigert wurde.
