The work "In the Belly of the Monster" by Lukas Göthman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. It achieved a price of SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,738.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Lukas Göthman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Valid virginity in the middle of the night" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,745.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "In the Belly of the Monster" von Lukas Göthman kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.738,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lukas Göthman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Valid virginity in the middle of the night" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.745,01).
