Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ozana by Lucas Arruda was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,274.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lucas Arruda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ozana von Lucas Arruda wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 63.274,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucas Arruda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69).
