Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Mountain Ink Stone by Louise Fishman. The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,277.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Louise Fishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Burnt Bridges in March last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 181,736.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Ink Stone von Louise Fishman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.277,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Fishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Burnt Bridges im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 181.736,23).
