Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diana Vreeland by Louise Dahl-Wolfe was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2016. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,736.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Louise Dahl-Wolfe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nude On Beach, California, 1948 in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,998.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Diana Vreeland von Louise Dahl-Wolfe kam im Oktober 2016 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.736,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louise Dahl-Wolfe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nude On Beach, California, 1948 im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.998,79).
