Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le comptoir, from Die Schaffenden (The Bar, from The Creators) by Louis Marcoussis was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,844.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Marcoussis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bocal Au Poisson, Livre, Guitare Devant Le Balcon in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 480,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le comptoir, from Die Schaffenden (The Bar, from The Creators) von Louis Marcoussis wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.844,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Marcoussis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bocal Au Poisson, Livre, Guitare Devant Le Balcon im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.750,00.
