Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Christies held the auction A Graphic Dialogue: Prints from the Collection of Lois B. Torf, which included the work La Table by Louis Marcoussis. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,398.64). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Marcoussis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bocal Au Poisson, Livre, Guitare Devant Le Balcon in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 480,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion A Graphic Dialogue: Prints from the Collection of Lois B. Torf durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Table von Louis Marcoussis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.398,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Marcoussis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bocal Au Poisson, Livre, Guitare Devant Le Balcon im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.750,00.
