Auction result well in line with expectations
The work With Love by Llyn Foulkes was sold in the Art d'après-guerre et contemporain, vente du jour auction at Christies in Paris in June 2019. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Llyn Foulkes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work My Last Chance in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,513.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit With Love von Llyn Foulkes wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Art d'après-guerre et contemporain, vente du jour bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Llyn Foulkes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit My Last Chance im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.513,92).
