Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Custer's Last Stand (Picture of Harry), 1973 by Llyn Foulkes was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 88,575.00 (€ 80,230.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Llyn Foulkes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work My Last Chance was auctioned for USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,513.92).
