Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shanghai: City God Temple by Liu Dahong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 66,196.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Dahong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Meeting Hall in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,780,000.00 (€ 274,673.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shanghai: City God Temple von Liu Dahong wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 66.196,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Dahong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Meeting Hall im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.780.000,00 (€ 274.673,21).
