Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Home by Liu Dahong was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,381.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Dahong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Meeting Hall in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 2,780,000.00 (€ 274,673.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Home von Liu Dahong wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.381,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Dahong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Meeting Hall im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.780.000,00 (€ 274.673,21).
