The work "Hiding in the City No.90 – National Day", 2010 by Liu Bolin was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021. The result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,877.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Bolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Hand in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,915.17).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Hiding in the City No.90 – National Day", 2010 von Liu Bolin kam im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.877,29) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Bolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Hand im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.915,17).
