Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Where the Buffalo Roam by Lisa Ruyter. It changed hands for a price of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Lisa Ruyter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Top of The World was auctioned for USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Where the Buffalo Roam von Lisa Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.514,88) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2006 die Arbeit Top of The World für USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75) versteigert.
