Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Cheyenne Social Club by Lisa Ruyter. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,929.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lisa Ruyter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Top of The World, which sold at auction in May 2006 for USD 50,400.00 (€ 39,273.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Cheyenne Social Club von Lisa Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.929,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lisa Ruyter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Top of The World beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für USD 50.400,00 (€ 39.273,75) versteigert wurde.
